A private developer with a long-vacant two-story anchor space called in Revel to conduct a preliminary food hall feasibility analysis.
We reviewed area area demographics, traffic and retail sales, analyzed various alternative development scenarios, including partial redevelopments of other parts of the site. Our conclusion was that a partial food hall - food market project similar to Madrid’s Mercado San Anton would succeed, and preliminary building plan and development models were created to help prove to the lender and institutional investors that a food hall was both feasible to create and profitable to run.
